ZWO ASI 533 MM Pro - powerful monochrome astronomical camera of the latest generation

The ZWO ASI 533 MM Pro features a monochrome sensor with an approximate 16 mm diagonal, suitable for almost any telescope. Its square shape allows optimal utilization of the corrected image field.

The camera offers:

• Incredible light sensitivity with QE of 80% via BACK ILLUMINATION technology.
• Very low flare from the amplifier, making it suitable for all astronomical applications, especially deep-sky astrophotography.
• USB 3.0 for fast data transfer, compatible with USB 2.0 as well.
• DDR3 intermediate memory for stable data transfer.
• Peltier cooling capable of reducing the temperature by up to 35°C below ambient temperature.
• High resolution with 3.76 µm pixels, ideal for telescopes such as apos, Hyperstar, Celestron Faststar, and Newtonian telescopes.
• High sensitivity, perfect for low-light objects.
• 14-bit ADC for depth similar to CCD cameras but with much higher sensitivity.

Applications of the camera include:

• Deep-sky imaging: Capable of capturing nebulae and galaxies within seconds, with reduced noise and exposure times under 30 seconds.
• Moon and planet imaging: High resolution that reduces atmospheric disturbances, capturing details even at shorter focal lengths.

Cooling ZWO cameras requires an external 12V power supply for operation. It is recommended to use a 12V DC adapter with 3A~5A or a lithium battery with 11-14V. Using power supplies outside this range may damage the camera.
