It’s a good dishwasher overall; it does what it promises and washes well, uses little energy on the eco program, opens the door for drying, and you can control it fully from your phone.
I usually set it to eco at night and leave it. It uses 0.5 kWh and 8.5 L of water at 55 degrees, and takes 4 hours! Of those 4 hours, it only washes for 2.5, then opens the door and you wait for the dishes to dry.

    - You can’t call it QUIET; it’s as noisy as the previous Siemens I bought 10–15 years ago. There’s a function you can select for quiet operation, and it does make a difference. You can also activate it from your phone while the wash is in progress, but I don’t think it will wash well because it reduces the pressure, so I don’t select it. I do turn up the TV, though, so I can hear it! You’ll notice this even when the appliance arrives on its own: if you try to open the door while holding it on one side, it bends because the material is very thin, and obviously you wouldn’t expect a door like that to keep the noise in.
    - You can’t use the eco program all the time because after a while it leaves a film on the plates and cutlery. You need to break it up once every 4–5 times with the intensive 70-degree program (uses 1 kWh).
    - Finally, if you find the SPV4EMX30E Series 4 cheaper, go for that one because there’s absolutely no difference. It’s worth saving even 30–40 euros. I checked all the details; the only differences are the LED lights, some stainless-steel parts on the racks, and the touch buttons. The lights are completely useless, I should say, because they shine directly onto the top rack and don’t illuminate the inside of the dishwasher at all. And the touch buttons are worse because they get pressed by accident, change the program, and leave you wondering what happened.

All in all, it seems like a good choice at around 650, which is what I paid; you get used to the other things I mentioned. It’s just that if I were buying again now, I’d go for the Series 4 and save 50 euros.
