Figure of Lying Cat, a character from the comic Saga. Saga is an epic space fantasy comic series written by Brian K. Vaughan and illustrated by Fiona Staples, published monthly by the American company Image Comics.
The series is based on ideas conceived by Vaughan both as a child and as a parent. It depicts a couple, Alana and Marko, from long-warring alien races, who are on the run from authorities on both sides of a galactic war as they struggle to care for their daughter, Hazel, who is born at the beginning of the series and who occasionally narrates the story as an unseen adult.
The comic has been described as "Star Wars meets Game of Thrones" and by critics as evocative of both science fiction and fantasy epics like The Lord of the Rings, as well as classic works like Romeo and Juliet.
