The dual plastic adapter with 16 metal pins from Techstar® is portable and easy to use for integrated vehicle computers. It is suitable for vehicles with difficult access to the OBDII diagnostic port. It is used for diagnosing car and light commercial vehicle systems equipped with the OBD2 standard, as well as for storing results. It operates according to the OBD2 standard (known as EOBD in Europe), effective in vehicles manufactured in the USA since 1996, in EU vehicles since 2001, and in diesel-powered vehicles (EU) since 2003.
