I don't want to be liked. I want to tell my truth.

My life has never been flat – thankfully. And this book is exactly that: my life as remembered by my body, my heart, my journey, my existence.

From the mirror in my room to the mirror of the world, a path that never asked for approval – only space. And I claimed it. The square I turned into a circle. The loves that lifted me and crushed me, the friendships that stood by me, the friends who “left,” the days I found breath, the nights I learned to pass through fires indifferent if I would burn.

I grew up as a trans woman in a world that always had an opinion about me – and I learned to exist without asking for its approval.

I don't beautify, I don't hide, I don't dress up to avoid frightening anyone.

If I have something to offer, it is my truth. And I give it as it is: sharp, tender, funny, dark, wild, human. My life. This is who I am. With the resolve never to remain silent again. And whoever wants to, follows.
