The Posca drawing marker writes and draws on paper, fabric, plastic, terracotta, glass, porcelain, metal, and wood. Its water-based ink does not bleed through paper, and once dry, the colors do not mix. It is resistant to light and weather.
It can also be used on cardboard, clay, model-making materials, stones, porous rocks, cement and cement-based materials, as well as leather, suede, and candles. To set the ink, iron fabrics on the reverse side without steam, while glass should be baked in the oven for 45 minutes and porcelain for half an hour at a low temperature. On other materials, a spray varnish or oven baking may be used, depending on the surface.
