After two novellas (which I continue to consider excellent for their genre), Rebecca Yarros returns like the phenomenon we all learned about and loved in a book that walks with very familiar and strong tropes, but it won’t remind you at all of everything you’ve read so far.
Her asset? The clever humor she brings out through dialogues, making this book fly by in your hands.
Her ace? The chemistry between the protagonists, which once again will sell you the idea of fated love like fresh lettuce at a farmer’s market.
Another "man" from Yarros who seems straight out of a dream and another heroine who grabs life by the feet and spins it in the air!
Beautiful messages with great meaning, and even though they come across lightly, believe me, they will leave their mark.
I recommend it to those looking for that "something" extra in their romantic stories and to those who want their boys to be totally green flags!

Η Χάρπερ είναι μια ευτυχισμένη δασκάλα που ζει την ήρεμη ζωή της στην μικρή επαρχία του Κολοράντο, όταν ένα απρόσμενο γεγονός θα φέρει τα πάνω κάτω στην ζωή της.
Απεγνωσμένη και απελπισμένη θα ζητήσει την βοήθεια του κολλητού του…αδελφού της και θα βρεθεί σε έναν φαύλο κύκλο με πολλά ευτράπτελα, μπελάδες και… αθώα μικρά ψέματα για το κοινό καλό
Ή μήπως τελικά τα ψέματα δεν απέχουν και πολύ από την αλήθεια;
Μετά από 2 νουβέλες (τις οποίες συνεχίζω και θεωρώ εξαιρετικές για το είδος τους) η Rebecca Yarros επιστρέφει σαν το φαινόμενο που όλοι μάθαμε και αγαπήσαμε σε ένα βιβλίο που βαδίζει με πολύ γνωστά και δυνατά tropes ωστόσο δεν θα σου θυμίσει σε τίποτα όλα όσα έχεις διαβάσει μέχρι τώρα.
Το ατού της; Το έξυπνο χιούμορ που αναδεικνύει μέσα από διαλογους και θα κάνουν αυτό το βιβλίο να φύγει σαν νεράκι στα χέρια σου.
Ο άσσος της; Η χημεία των πρωταγωνιστών που για άλλη μια φορά θα σου πουλήσει τον καρμικό έρωτα σαν φρέσκο μαρουλάκι σε λαϊκή αγορά.
Άλλος ένας «άνδρας» της Yarros που έχει βγει από όνειρο και άλλη μια πρωταγωνίστρια που αρπάζει την ζωή από τα πόδια και την κάνει σβούρες στον αέρα!
Ομορφα μηνύματα με μεγάλο νόημα και παρόλο που στα περνάει ανάλαφρα πίστεψε με θα αφήσουν το στίγμα τους.
Το προτείνω σε όσους ψάχνουν το «κάτι» παραπάνω στις ρομαντικές ιστορίες τους και σε όσες θέλουν τα αγόρια τους totally green flags!
