Description

Resident Evil Requiem returns to its horror roots. The ninth installment of Capcom’s legendary series marks the beginning of a new era in the survival horror genre, combining a realistic atmosphere, technological innovations, and a deeply human story.

You take on the role of Grace Ashcroft – an FBI agent sent to investigate mysterious deaths at the "Werenwood" hotel. Soon, you discover that this place is not only the scene of horrific crimes, but also the key to the past of Raccoon City.

A body has been found in an abandoned hotel in the Midwest, the latest in a mysterious series of deaths across the United States.

FBI intelligence analyst Grace Ashcroft has taken on the case, at the very place where her mother was murdered eight years ago. But when it is discovered that a police officer has disappeared in the hotel, veteran agent Leon S. Kennedy is also sent to the crime scene.

As Grace and Leon's paths converge, they must confront their past and uncover the truth behind the Raccoon City incident that changed the world forever. But while the horrors of their memories echo in their minds, will they relive the nightmare... or finally offer a requiem for the dead?

Grace Ashcroft

An FBI intelligence analyst who demonstrates intense focus and insight in inductive reasoning and analysis.

The death of her mother deeply shocked her, turning her into an introverted personality who immerses herself in her work.

Thus, she heads alone to the abandoned hotel to investigate this mysterious death.

Raccoon City

Return once more to the city of destruction and despair.

A city in the Midwest region of the United States and the former headquarters of the global pharmaceutical company Umbrella.

Faced with the zombie outbreak in 1998, the government authorized a sterilization operation, a missile strike on the city, in an attempt to quickly bring the situation under control — but this was quickly covered up.

Classic gameplay with modern flexibility

You face terror through combat, exploration, puzzles, and careful resource management, just as the DNA of the series dictates. You can freely switch between first and third-person perspectives, adapting the experience to your personal style and living the nightmare as you choose.

  • The 80 euros may seem like a lot but it is truly an amazing game. It will also get DLC so I think it has a lot to offer if you want to spend hours on it. I was thrilled, wonderful atmosphere, sound, graphics, and the classic gameplay is even more direct and mature, I would say. If you plan to play it a lot and you are a fan of the series, it is 100% worth it. On the Switch where I play it, there are some small frame rate drops, but overall it might be the most beautiful game on the console so far. It's a game for TV, but I actually prefer it with headphones and in handheld mode
