The historical research never stops. For the diligent researcher, the "search" continues endlessly. Especially Greek History, which has been so heavily affected by the malicious intentions of our friends and allies as well as our own negligence, REQUIRES its "unraveling" (a wonderful term of Pontic origin, meaning the shedding of "clouds" from someone's mind who has just woken up).

I should mention that, during the intervening period, the newly found material led to additions and even corrections of the texts of the first two editions, without changing the slightest thing regarding the final conclusion. On the contrary, the innocence of the Mavromichalis family is reinforced and more thoroughly documented.
