The journey of the young orphan Xin towards glory as a great general in the Qin kingdom's quest to do what has never been done before—unite China.

After meeting Lord Changwen and soldiers loyal to the legitimate king, Ying Zheng and his group must decide the next steps to reclaim the throne. Meanwhile, Xin and Diao are completely out of their element around these soldiers and advisors, many of whom are confused and shocked by their presence. But the sight of Diao offers hope.
