The "Mother of Dragons" expansion introduces the powerful House Targaryen. This once proud house of the Dragon Lords must resort to every trick and use every available weapon to cross the Narrow Sea and reclaim power in Westeros. Political alliances or iron and fire – the methods do not matter to them. They believe they are the rightful rulers of the Seven Kingdoms and will not stop until they sit again on the Iron Throne, one way or another.

The expansion also offers a range of exciting new options, including the ability to play as House Arryn, a large additional board depicting the Free Cities of Essos, a system of neutral vassals for games with fewer than eight players, ruthless moneylenders of the Iron Bank of Braavos, new sea order tokens, and much more.
