The Pentair 2G Slimline water filter system is installed under the counter and connected to the cold water supply to filter the water used by the tap. The filter housing is made of plastic and accepts 10" activated carbon cartridges. It includes a Pure CTOP 2510-05 replacement filter made from 100% coconut-shell activated carbon, with a 5-micron rating, which reduces chlorine, odors and chlorine by-products, while helping improve taste.

The replacement filter has a Hydrophilic treatment, reduces cysts measuring ≥5 microns and does not release carbon dust. The filter housing has brass 1/2" male-threaded inlet and outlet connections, a maximum operating pressure of 8.6 bar and a maximum operating temperature of 51.7 °C. Its materials are certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 42.
