This album presents a series of my sketches made from 1979 to 2022. They concern studies of buildings and participations in national and international competitions held during these 43 years, mainly in our office together with D. Isaia, but also in collaboration with other architects. Many of these projects were fortunate enough to be constructed while others remained unrealized.

...the rough sketches of the building are something different from the building itself, which expresses – now in space – the crystallization of the idea. Those express the uncertainty that the architect (and I believe every artist) experiences during the composition of a work, the thoughts and variations recorded on paper while working, as if they are born one upon another. Those many "maybes," which contain the alternative solutions that appear – as if by magic – in his mind during a study.
