The Shelly two-way safety valve for boilers measures flow, pressure, temperature and total water consumption using ultrasonic technology, with no moving mechanical parts. It can be controlled remotely via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth and supports automations and leak notifications. When paired with a Shelly Flood sensor, it can automatically shut off the water supply when a leak is detected.

Consumption data is displayed in daily, weekly and monthly charts in the Shelly Smart Control app. The valve supports local control via a web interface, MQTT and REST API, as well as automations for irrigation and remote monitoring.
