Long cylindrical metal drills, according to DIN 1869, type N, 118, HSS-G. Heat treated, processed, right-hand cutting, with a spiral angle of 20-30° and diameter tolerance h8.
They additionally include sharpening on the seating surface and reduction of the cutting angle, according to DIN 1412 C, for easier cutting, reduced cutting force, and faster drilling. They are designed for drilling in non-alloyed and alloyed steels with Rm 800 N/mm², heat-treated steels with Rm 1100 N/mm², as well as drilling in non-ferrous materials (copper and bronzes) and plastics.
Cooling during drilling is recommended, with the cutting force adjusted to the stability of the drill. Suitable for use in drill machines, fixed and permanent equipment.
