Description

The LTD EC-1000 guitars are designed to offer the sound, feel, appearance, and quality that professional musicians need in an instrument. The EC-1000 VB Duncan is consistently one of the most popular guitars due to its combination of incredible appearance and exceptional performance.

It features a body, neck, and headstock with vintage appearance and gold details, and includes top-of-the-line components such as LTD locking tuners, Tonepros locking TOM bridge and tailpiece, and classic passive Seymour Duncan JB/'59 pickups.

It also offers a set-thru construction with a mahogany body and neck, and an Ebony Macassar fretboard with 24 frets.

HH Pickup Configuration

1 Seymour Duncan JB (bridge) & 1 Seymour Duncan '59 (neck) humbucker

This setup includes two humbucker pickups, which are placed in the position of the middle pickup and the bridge pickup of the guitar.

Humbucker pickups offer better response to low frequencies and bass sound, as well as greater resistance to noise. This makes the guitar suitable for powerful riffs and solos.

Equipped with active pickups, which require a battery to operate. The advantages of active pickups compared to passive ones are that they almost eliminate noise and have a high output signal, resulting in a fairly clean and "thick" sound.

Body and neck construction made of mahogany

The mahogany wood it features offers a rich, warm, and deep sound, with strong bass and good mid-range and high-end tones. The sound of mahogany is darker and heavier compared to other woods used in the construction of electric guitars, such as alder or poplar.

This sound makes mahogany suitable for many styles of music, such as rock, blues, jazz, and heavy metal.

Ebony Wood Fingerboard

The Ebony wood featured on the LTD EC-1000 offers a hard, stable, and dark sound.

Ebony wood is a very strong and durable wood with high density, which provides great stability on the fretboard and helps reproduce frequencies with more accuracy and balance.

The sound of Ebony wood is darker and more "full" compared to other woods, such as Rosewood or Maple. This makes it suitable for music genres like metal, rock, and jazz, where a sound with more sharpness and intensity is required.

Les Paul style body shape

The ESP LTD EC 1000 electric guitar features a Les Paul style body shape, which is one of the most common shapes in electric guitars. The Les Paul shape has a single curved trapezoid shape, with two cutaways for easy access to the higher frets.

This shape was created by guitarist and inventor Les Paul and is a timeless design that is popular among musicians of all genres and skill levels.
