Ovulation Test

The HomeTest ovulation tests detect the rise in luteinizing hormone (LH) levels in urine. The increase in LH precedes ovulation and triggers it within 24 - 48 hours. After ovulation, the egg can survive for only 24 hours (or less) after being released, while sperm can survive for several days inside a healthy body.

The HomeTest ovulation tests can help you predict your two most fertile days, and if intercourse occurs during these days, your chances of becoming pregnant will increase.

The tests do not require any other device to operate. They are used as they are. They are one-step technology, meaning single-step, and the result is produced in minimal time.

Pregnancy Test

Pregnancy tests measure the hormone hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin), a glycoprotein produced by the developing placenta immediately after successful fertilization.

Under normal conditions and after ovulation has occurred, hCG can be detected in urine 9-10 days after the implantation of the fertilized egg in the uterus and doubles every 2-3 days, reaching 100mlU/ml at the first missed period.

The appearance of hCG soon after conception and its subsequent increase in concentration during the first days of pregnancy make it an excellent indicator for the early detection of pregnancy.

When to collect urine

The result line of the pregnancy test is proportional to the amount of hCG hormone. It is best to use the first morning urine, as the hCG hormone is more concentrated in the morning. However, you can use the tests at any other time of the day without any problem. Also, avoid consuming liquids (water, coffee, etc.) for 2 hours before using the test, as the hormone may be diluted and the results may not appear correctly.
