The latest modifications to labor legislation following the previous edition are significant, with a strong impact on the new labor law. Already from the previous edition of this book, Law 5239/2025, with a series of regulations, building on Law 5053/2023, brings about radical changes to labor law.

Furthermore, a new interesting element is the supplementary codification in the original, which concerned individual labor law and was done with Presidential Decree 80/2022, replaced by Presidential Decree 62/2025, which also includes collective labor law, health and safety law, and work-related accidents (ΚΕΔ), to which the present edition of the book refers.

This concise overview is limited to a brief presentation of the new institutional framework of employment relations, which is useful for understanding the main institutions of labor law, both in individual and collective labor law.
