The LY-2008 solar ultrasonic device repels rodents, cats and birds with ultrasonic and audible sound waves, and features a motion sensor and flashing light. The solar panel charges the rechargeable batteries, and the device can also be charged via Micro USB. It has five programmes with different ultrasonic frequencies and combinations of sound and light.

The motion sensor activates the device when it detects movement. Its sensitivity can be adjusted using a potentiometer, while a second potentiometer selects the repellent programme. The device can be placed in the ground using the support stakes or hung on a wall or tree.
