Those engaged in ancient Greek philology, such as philologists, students, and pupils of Gymnasiums, strive to understand, evaluate, and utilize the educational power contained in the pages of the intellectual creations of antiquity, because these unquestionably constitute the models of thought.

For this reason, since ancient Greek texts are the unique and genuine source of humanistic education for people of all eras, today it is more necessary than ever to disseminate ancient Greek literature and make it a true possession of all Greeks, because it is the only way to confront the sad phenomenon of the international intellectual and moral crisis, which has erupted like a storm to overthrow and shatter eternal moral values and replace them with the trivial idols of human lowly interests and pursuits.

Spiritual currents and trends, various artistic slogans, and the new moral perceptions of our time have launched an unprecedented attack against classical studies, and it is not difficult to understand the cause of this hostility. It is the fear of testing. The classical intellectual works serve as the touchstone, and the value of the newly emerged teachings does not withstand the trial of truth.
