The formula helps reduce the concentration of ions involved in crystal formation, while producing dilute urine makes it harder for struvite and oxalate stones to form. For dissolving struvite stones, use is recommended for 5–12 weeks; to prevent their recurrence, use for up to 6 months. Consult a veterinarian before use, and ensure your dog has continuous access to fresh water.
