The Askar FRA300 Pro telescope is a five-element Petzval apochromatic refractor, one of whose elements is ED (Extra-Low Dispersion) glass. It has a 60 mm aperture and a 300 mm focal length, with a focal ratio of f/5. The 44 mm image circle covers full-frame sensors, while the multi-layer anti-reflection coatings enhance light transmission and contrast.

The tube is made of CNC-machined aluminum with an anodized finish. The 2.5" Rack & Pinion focuser has a 1:10 reduction ratio, while the 360° rotator lets you change the camera’s position without affecting back focus.
