The espresso briki is the ideal choice to enjoy a cup of rich coffee. It is an economical solution compared to espresso machines, as it operates simply by placing it on a stove burner. The preparation process is easy: fill the bottom part with water up to the safety valve, put ground coffee in the filter without pressing it, and place it on the water container. Screw the top part on and let it heat on the stove burner. When the water begins to boil, extraction will start, offering you hot and fresh coffee. The extraction is based on steam pressure, although the briki produces less pressure compared to espresso machines, usually 2 to 3 bar. It is good to use coarser ground coffee for better extraction.
