Antifouling Paints

High-performance self-priming, self-cleaning antifouling paint without tin. Contains copper oxide (I) and specially controlled-release biocides, protecting for up to 5 years against bacteria, algae, seaweed, shellfish, and generally organisms that attach to the hulls of vessels. Ideal for vessels made of polyester, wood, steel. Also suitable for ships moving at any speed, from sailboats to speedboats exceeding 32 knots.

Preparation / Application

• The surface must be properly prepared, completely clean and dry at the time of application.
• The temperature should be 3°C above the dew point to prevent condensation of moisture.
• In confined spaces, ensure adequate ventilation during application and drying.
• For painting over old antifouling paints, properly prepare the surface and wash thoroughly with fresh water at high pressure.
• Apply with a roller, brush, or airless spray gun.
• Full drying times are 16 hours at 5°C, 8 hours at 15°C, 4 hours at 20°C, 3 hours at 35°C.

After the drying time has elapsed, it is safe for use by humans and animals.
