More cores provide increased power for programs that take advantage of a larger number of cores. Threads allow the processor to execute multiple applications simultaneously, performing tasks faster. Its maximum frequency is 3.7 Ghz.

The Cache memory it incorporates is 3 MB. Cache memory is a very important feature as the larger it is, the less time the processor requires to retrieve data from the computer's main memory, significantly increasing performance.

It has the 1150 Socket and will need to be hosted on a motherboard with a corresponding Socket. Finally, a cooler is not included. You will need to purchase a separate cooler for the processor, which is necessary.

The worst processor that exists on this earth, it does nothing, it makes noise all the time as if I am inside an airplane. The image freezes all the time. This processor is useless and Intel is a jinxed company that sets fire prices on products that look good but are garbage. In my preference, never get Intel if you don't want to get annoyed daily with this trash. Thank you very much.

My rating is on 19/04/2018 and I suggest not to get it, go for something more powerful than i5 and above, this one is outdated and not worth it anymore. The applications are being updated and this one has fallen behind, it won't help you

  • I have combined it with a mini-itx motherboard (Gigabyte H81-TN) as a low-power desktop PC. I have connected it to an external 90W laptop power supply and I have never experienced any issues. Now I don't have to worry about forgetting to turn off the PC while I'm away from home, etc., as its power consumption is extremely low.
Okay, it's definitely not as fast as an i5/i7, but in combination with Windows 7, mSata SSD, and soon to be 8GB sodimm RAM, it performs very well.
For example, the cooling pump of the 10-year-old system it replaced consumed only 25 watts.
For me, its advantage is the particularly high base frequency of 3.7, which provides a very responsive system.

The only thing that bothers me is the temperature that reaches 55-60 degrees, but I changed the paste (specifically, I got the Mx-4) and it lowered the temperature a bit. However, I had to get a cooler to be complete. Overall, it is a very good CPU and very fast.

VERY good processor ... I once left my PC on for 7 consecutive days, at night I let it download GTA and during the day I recorded a game I was playing, edited it, and for those 7 days the computer worked perfectly, it was fast... I highly recommend it to you without hesitation.

For gaming, with a good graphics card, it's just what you need. Not only in games, but many times I use Sony Vegas and Adobe Photoshop simultaneously and I have no problem. This is due to the 4 threads and the high clock at 3.7GHz. It performs very well in games with the Asus R9 380 4GB. It runs Grand Theft Auto V maxed out at around 50fps, which relies more on the CPU than the GPU. Doom runs at ultra settings with 60fps+ and often reaches 100fps. Watchdogs 2 gives 45-50fps on high, very high, and some ultra settings. CS:GO surpasses 150fps on all ultra settings. Finally, The Witcher runs at ultra settings with hairworks off at 60fps on average. Overall, it can play whatever you want, even those games that require a very good CPU at 1080p. I also tried it at 1440p with the same settings and had 5-15 fewer fps depending on the game. In my opinion, a very good processor for its price.

From the most powerful Core i3, especially in its generation, and with an ideal performance-to-price ratio.
The processor is really cool, I haven't seen temperatures above 42°C even in the summer.
If you're not exclusively involved in video editing, where most cores help reduce processing time, it's a very good choice for any use.

Excellent CPU, I frequently use my friend's PC that has it, so I have formed an opinion. We always leave LOL, CS:GO, and a browser with about ten open tabs running in the background, and there is no lag in-game, even with the integrated graphics. The i3 is the perfect choice for the average user who wants to play several games with a decent budget graphics card at 1080p, as hyper-threading makes multitasking easier and increases FPS in games. As for temperatures, I have nothing to complain about, as Intel processors and the stock cooler keep it below 50 degrees even in the summer with LOL, CS:GO, and a browser running. Compared to Skylake, it loses about 10% performance, as Intel's new architecture offers even better temperatures, power consumption, and core performance, providing more FPS and better integrated graphics

Excellent processor from Intel with low temperatures, it also has its own graphics that can run games like League of Legends, but don't expect high fps. It is perfect for YouTube videos. I bought it on a great offer for 90 euros, but even at 120 euros, it is definitely worth it because it is cool, efficient, and overall a reliable processor.

For office work, it is a very good and economical processor, but for gaming, definitely for a demanding gamer, in my opinion, they should go for an Intel Core i7 because if you have a graphics card of the level of an R9 390 or higher, it is not fully utilized. I have this specific card and it plays like I have the R7 370, which I had before. You can't go any higher in resolutions and overall better graphics due to the processor (it lags). So if you get this processor and want to play games, the graphics card should be up to a maximum of R7 370 4G. If the processor could be overclocked, the results in games would definitely be better with a good graphics card. This is also a downside, that this specific processor does not support overclocking, it is already high in its MHz. In general, though, it is a good and economical solution.

I bought it for 130 euros, it's excellent. It plays all the new games very well, even though it's dual-core, it has 4 threads for those who need a quad-core. The system reads the threads in games, not the cores, so this processor, if combined with a GTX 960-970, will simply perform miracles

  • The only thing that bothers me is the temperature that reaches 55-60 degrees, but I changed the paste (specifically, I got the Mx-4) and it lowered the temperature a bit. However, I had to get a cooler to be complete. Overall, it is a very good CPU and very fast.
