Numicon builds a deep understanding of mathematics through a multi-sensory approach, developing children's skills, logic, and problem-solving abilities.

The 100-square base of Numicon is a plastic square surface with 10 x 10 elevated circles, onto which shapes and Numicon overlays can be placed. This base can be used as a foundation for constructing towers of numerical relationships or for creating patterns with Numicon loops, and it is useful in many Numicon activities for children in Main Stage 1.
