Powerful Sound and 3D Audio
The OnePlus Nord Buds 3r feature large 12.4 mm drivers with a titanium-treated diaphragm, delivering powerful bass and clear sound with plenty of detail. OnePlus 3D Audio technology creates a more immersive experience, making the sound seem as if it is coming from different directions around you. For even greater customization, Sound Master EQ offers three preset sound options, while you can also use the 6-band equalizer to shape the sound according to your preferences. So whether you are listening to music, watching movies, or playing games, you can choose the experience that suits you.
Up to 54 hours of battery life
Long battery life is one of the main advantages of the Nord Buds 3r. The earbuds offer up to 12 hours of playback on a single charge, while together with the charging case the total battery life reaches up to 54 hours. If you're in a hurry, fast charging provides up to 8 hours of music after just 10 minutes of charging. The case uses USB-C, so you can easily charge them along with your other devices. In addition, the TÜV Battery Health Certification is designed to ensure stable battery performance for up to 1,000 charging cycles, offering a longer product lifespan.
Clear Calls and Smart Connectivity
The Nord Buds 3r feature two microphones in each earbud and AI Call Noise Cancellation technology, which reduces unwanted ambient sounds so your voice is heard more clearly during calls. With Bluetooth 5.4, they offer a stable wireless connection, while the Dual-Device Connection function allows connection to two devices, such as a smartphone and laptop, and easy switching between them. They also support Google Fast Pair for quick connection with Android devices and a 47ms low-latency mode for better audio and video synchronization in gaming. Coming from the Redmi Buds 4 Active, I have to say I was amazed, especially by the battery and the bass. For 30 euros, it's an amazing choice and they are the only earphones that fit well in my ear, but it also depends on who wears them—personally, they fit me well. Before you buy them, do some research because I haven't had them for long, but I intend to update my review if I notice anything wrong with the earphones and I will let you know
Coming from the Xiaomi Redmi Buds 6 Active, which currently cost almost 11 euros, I was a bit hesitant with the OnePlus. However, after 2 days, I have only good things to say:
1) There are absolutely no disconnections nor does it lose its signal. Other brands like Xiaomi or QCY often disconnect when you are in a crowded place (metro, train).
2) The connection is very fast and the good thing is that it transfers the call immediately. With the Xiaomi Redmi Buds 6 Active I had, I often had to hang up the call, put the earbuds in my ears, and then call again so that it would connect properly.
3) The case is incredibly beautiful (black color) and has very tight hinges when closing. I haven't tested the call duration yet nor the Spatial Audio (which requires Windows).
As an overall impression, it is worth the money if you pay up to 35 euros. I think that above 40-50 euros you should go for another model or brand.
