The RF-57/A devices are used in hotels and rental rooms to control lighting and air conditioning in the rooms. They operate in combination with the RF-42 or RF-43 card switches and one or more magnetic contacts on the balcony doors.

• Deactivation of air conditioning when the balcony door is opened and remains open for more than 60 seconds.
• Activation of air conditioning when the door is closed.
• Deactivation of both RF-57/A outputs after 60 seconds when the access card is removed from the card switch.
