This is the story of Noah Kaplan, the last surviving human, who managed to escape the explosion of our planet. We find him flying in an alien spacecraft toward the unknown.

To maintain his mental health and cope with loneliness, he decides to write down the entire world and all human achievements he can remember in a hybrid of a diary and an encyclopedia.
