The development and dissemination of generative Artificial Intelligence models, such as the ChatGPT system model, characterize the digital transformation of our era. The use of protected works as training data for such models raises various questions, such as:

• What is the appropriate (machine-readable) way to exercise the right of withdrawal (opt-out);
• Is the use of works for training generative AI models a new and independent mode of exploitation;
