The Pentair 2G Slimline water filter system is installed under the sink and connects directly to the cold water supply. It includes a 5 μm polypropylene filter as the first stage and a Pure LRC 2510-P5 coconut activated carbon replacement filter, with a 0.5-micron rating, as the second stage. The replacement filter reduces chlorine, heavy metals and organic compounds, while improving the taste and odor of the water.

The filter housing is made of heavy-duty metal and accepts 10" cartridges. The inlet and outlet connections are brass, with a ½" diameter. The system comes with a faucet, and the replacement filter is easy to change.
