I wanted a relatively cheap racket for amateur padel. It has turned out very good, it is slightly heavier than some others but there is no problem with the hand, it doesn't tire you at all and it is relatively quite stiff at the front so you can play with as much power as you want in your shots!

Material Composition & Feel at Impact

The Head Bolt 2026 RDBK uses synthetic fiberglass fibers (Fiberglass Hitting Surface) on the hitting surface, offering less rigidity than carbon fiber constructions. This choice provides a flexible response on ball impact, absorbing vibrations and delivering a smooth ball release without requiring excessive muscular effort.

Oversized Geometry & Ergonomic Handling

With an oversized head area of 525 cm² and a teardrop shape, the racket creates a large sweet spot that reduces errors on off-center shots. Its total weight of 350 g, combined with a balance point of 265 mm, makes it exceptionally easy to handle, allowing for quick reactions at the net and stability on defensive returns from the back of the court.

Racket Weight

Choosing the right weight for a padel racket depends on several factors, such as the player’s skill level and preference for maneuverability or power. As a general rule, padel rackets weigh between 290 and 390 grams, with lighter rackets offering greater maneuverability and heavier rackets providing more power.
Balance Point
265 mm

Balance Point

Refers to the balance point measured from the base (mm), that is, the distance from the bottom of the handle to the point where the racket balances.

  • Low balance point (approximately 250–260 mm): More weight towards the handle. The racket is usually more maneuverable and easier to handle quickly.
  • Medium balance point (approximately 260–270 mm): A balance between maneuverability and power. Usually a versatile choice for different playing styles.
  • High balance point (approximately 270–285+ mm): More weight towards the head. Can provide greater power for attacking shots, but is usually less maneuverable.
Head Area
81 sq.in

Head Area

The head area affects the power and accuracy of shots. The larger the head, the more power and forgiveness it offers. The wider surface provides a larger sweet spot and fewer vibrations. Smaller heads are used by experienced players who seek precision and power in their game, while larger heads are preferred by beginners and intermediate players who need more control and "forgiveness" in their shots.
