The Techstar® THT-020-9-1 wireless adapter extends the functionality of car radios with Android 11.0 or newer operating system, allowing the connection of mobile phones and tablets both wired and wirelessly via Apple CarPlay for iOS and Android Auto for Android. With this extension, it is possible to display maps, play and control music, calls, podcasts, and audiobooks directly on the car radio. Additionally, the adapter supports screen mirroring of the device on the car display.

Before use, it is necessary to check the compatibility of the car radio. This adapter is suitable for the majority of car radios operating with Android version 11.0 or newer. You can find this information directly in the radio menu or check with your dealer. The adapter is not compatible with car radios running other operating systems, such as original Skoda and VW radios.

The Android Auto feature is also available in your phone's menu. The adapter can communicate with mobile phones running Android version 11.0 or newer. For the use of Apple CarPlay, the iPhone must be running iOS 12 or later.

The device connection is easily made via the USB port from the main unit. The ES APK application installs directly on the radio and is ready to use.

The phone connection to the adapter can be made either through the wireless network created by the adapter or directly via cable. If a cable is used, ensure it is either original or high quality, as some non-original cables may affect the adapter's operation.
