The twICEme® NFC system contains medical identity information, providing details when communication is not possible. Updated for the new season, it includes the MIPS system, which enhances brain protection during falls by allowing 10-15 millimeters of movement upon impact, reducing rotational forces on the head.

The helmet features an NFC medical chip that allows rescuers to access critical medical information at the scene of an injury, facilitating treatment assessment during the crucial "golden hour" immediately after an accident. The introduction of the NFC system is part of POC's approach to ski helmet design, with the primary goal of ensuring safety.
