GORE-TEX™ Waterproof Protection & Upper Design

The upper of the ASICS Gel-Pulse 17 GTX features a waterproof GORE-TEX™ membrane that prevents water from entering when running in rain, mud, or on wet trails. Its microporous structure also allows moisture vapor to escape, keeping your feet dry. The outer mesh provides a contoured fit and protection against abrasion, while the reinforced ankle collar helps keep the heel secure.

FLYTEFOAM™ & PureGEL™ Cushioning Technologies

The midsole uses FLYTEFOAM™ foam technology, which keeps the overall weight low while providing continuous cushioning and energy return. The heel features integrated PureGEL™ technology, which is 65% softer than traditional GEL™ technology, effectively absorbing impact forces on landing and ensuring a smooth transition to the forefoot.

AHARPLUS™ Outsole & Traction

The outsole features durable AHARPLUS™ (ASICS High Abrasion Rubber), strategically placed in high-wear areas. This design extends the shoe’s lifespan by resisting abrasion from pavement, while the textured groove pattern provides stable footing and grip on wet and slippery surfaces.
