The Askar 120APO telescope is an apochromatic refractor featuring an air-spaced triplet APO lens with ED glass to reduce chromatic aberration and deliver sharp images with natural color rendition. It has a 120 mm aperture, an 840 mm focal length, and an F/7 focal ratio, making it suitable for astrophotography and visual observation. Its equatorial mount and features are aimed at experienced users.

The 3.3" dual-speed rack-and-pinion focuser is compatible with motors. The CNC-machined aluminum tube has a white anodized finish with orange accents, while the retractable dew shield features large screws. The two finder scope bases are positioned on either side of the focuser, and the extendable handle with 60 mm slots also serves as a finder base.

The tube rings feature hand knobs for quick opening. The 290 mm Vixen plate has multiple holes and is compatible with an optional Losmandy plate. The telescope is compatible with 1.25" and 2" eyepieces and diagonals, as well as binoculars. The 360° rotatable rear connector has an engraved scale and a large locking screw.
