The Purewave PWRO8111PM reverse osmosis system purifies water in 8 stages and includes a pump, an 11 W UV lamp and an 11-litre storage tank. It is designed for installation under the kitchen counter and comes with a stainless steel dispensing faucet, which can be installed on the counter or sink.

The stages include a sediment filter, two activated carbon filters, a VONTRON 100 GPD TFC membrane, a post-treatment carbon filter, a remineralisation filter, an alkaline ion filter and a UV system. The membrane separates 95–99.9% of dissolved contaminants, chemicals, solids, metals, bacteria and microorganisms. The carbon filters help remove chlorine, organic substances, pesticides, chemicals and unpleasant tastes and odours, while the remineralisation filters add trace elements and minerals. The UV lamp prevents bacterial growth by destroying the core of their DNA.
