The Crash Monsters board game by Peaceable Kingdom combines tower building with the challenge of knocking it down using a monster on a skateboard. Players draw cards and build towers from foam blocks, following the designs shown. Then they place a monster on the skateboard and let it roll down the ramp, trying to knock over the tower.
The game includes activities involving color and pattern recognition, following directions, and understanding cause-and-effect relationships. Handling the blocks and skateboard helps develop hand-eye coordination, while the game encourages imagination, communication, and cooperation. Scoring can be based on the number of blocks that fall or on shot accuracy.
