But it’s difficult: Aidan is closed off and evasive; Maggie seems to have no time for him; and he discovers that the locals are hostile toward the Gardners. Frank needs to learn more about this family, but if he becomes too pushy, he risks ruining his relationship with his daughter forever.
A thriller that keeps the reader on edge and digs deep into the heart of a family. A wonderful work full of suspense by a true modern master of the genre.
