Usage – How to cook the traditional trachanas
For 5 servings, use:
- 1 tea cup of trachanas
- 1,200ml (5 tea cups) of water
- 50ml olive oil
- A little salt
In a pot, heat the olive oil, add the trachanas and stir for a few minutes. After adding the water and salt, bring to a boil and simmer for 10–15 minutes until it acquires a velvety texture.
