Uni-Ball Paint permanent markers feature water-soluble ink that can be diluted with water before it dries to create gradients. While the ink is wet, blend it on the work surface using the marker tip or a brush. Its opaque formula allows you to apply multiple layers. The quick-drying ink helps prevent smudging between layers.

To prepare the markers, shake them with the cap on, then press the tip onto scrap paper until it fills with ink. If the ink flow slows, shake the marker again with the cap on and press the tip onto paper. The tips can be cleaned with water. The markers can be stored in any position, as long as the cap is replaced after use.
