It comes pre-installed with the SLZB-OS operating system, ready to use out-of-the-box, including a web interface, OTA updates, VPN, secure access, and automation capabilities. The device is housed in a compact and durable ABS case with vents and separate antenna connectors, providing a modern and long-lasting solution.

The “U” version is an upgraded version of the SLZB-MR3U: it adds hardware flow control for both radio SoCs, RJ45 LEDs controlled via software, and USB functionality that exposes both radio devices as separate USB-serial devices. It also supports USB passthrough (USB-over-IP), allowing access to USB radio systems (e.g., ZWA-2) over the network.
