BIBS Colour pacifiers are made from latex, a material derived from the rubber tree sap (Hevea). This sap is processed to produce latex – a durable, flexible, and soft material with a texture similar to a mother's breast.

• The pacifier nipple is designed with a valve that allows air to escape when the baby closes their mouth, adapting the natural shape of the baby's oral cavity.
• The nipple is made from 100% natural latex.
• The flexible shield around the nipple has a slightly concave shape to minimize contact points with the baby's skin.
• The shield is made from 100% safe and tested PP, designed with 3 holes to allow air circulation.

Cleaning and sterilizing the pacifier
Proper hygiene requires frequent cleaning of the pacifier. The younger the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. The pacifier must be sterilized before first use.

Latex is a natural material that can break down at temperatures above 100°C. Therefore, latex pacifiers MUST NOT be sterilized in a microwave, steam, or UV sterilizer.

Sterilizing the pacifier involves 3 simple steps:
1. Place the pacifier in a clean bowl.
2. Pour hot water over the pacifier and leave it for 5 minutes.
3. Remove the pacifier onto a clean towel and let it dry.

If water has entered inside the nipple (through the valve), press the nipple with a towel until the water is expelled.
