It does the job. It seems to clean quite well but don't expect it to be like the first day you wore it.

I bought it for removing plaque from my Essix retainer. It does a great job!! The positive thing is that you don't need to scrub them with a toothbrush and damage the surface of the dental work over time, which results in easier plaque and bacteria accumulation. Basically, by using toothpaste and brushing, we do the same thing, it's just that over time the surface wears off (loses its smoothness and polish), so it easily collects bacteria, etc. I personally have a soft toothbrush only for cleaning after removing the retainer and removing anything that didn't come off from rinsing. The result is excellent. **If you use a clear retainer like Invisalign, etc., make sure the water is just warm, not too hot, as the retainer is made of thermoplastic material and may get damaged.

I use it twice a week in a glass with warm water.

I use a tablet every night to disinfect and clean my invisalign aligners. I use it to freshen up my whitening trays and my orthodontic trays. I also clean my toothbrush every now and then. I simply leave it in a glass of water and submerge it while I'm at work. I am very satisfied

I use them to soak my invisalign orthodontic masks. Although they are made of plastic, my masks have not suffered anything and it helps me a lot because besides the fact that they are sterilized, they soften the food residues and plaque, making it easier for me to brush them and clean them properly.
