The Menabo Leopard XL Black roof bars feature an aerodynamic, flat oval profile made of black anodized aluminum and are 135 cm long. The set with feet fits factory flush roof rails that sit against the roof, and is compatible with the 5-door BMW X1 E84, model years 2012–2015. The T-track slot on top accepts compatible accessories with a 20 mm T-system connector, sold separately.

Rubber covers on the top and bottom protect the T-track slot and help ensure quiet transport. The end caps have rubber padding at the vehicle contact points and built-in security locks. The package includes two bars, end caps, locks, an assembly tool, and user instructions.
