The Menabo Sherman Black roof bars attach to raised, parallel roof rails with a gap beneath them, such as those on the 5-door Volkswagen Golf VII 5G Plus (2013–2019). They are made of black anodized aluminum and feature an aerodynamic, squared oval profile. The T-track slot on top allows compatible transport accessories to be fitted, while the rubber anti-slip cover protects the slot.

The mounting feet have rubber padding at the points of contact with the vehicle, and the integrated anti-theft system includes locks. The package contains two bars with integrated feet and locks, an assembly tool, and instructions.
