In Calimala, you take on the role of an ambitious cloth merchant striving to establish your influence in the city.
Will you invest in trade? Will you contribute to the construction of great buildings? Or will you ensure your people are promoted to the city council at just the right moment for scoring?
You have a number of action discs that represent your trusted employees.
In each round:
You place a disc between two available actions.
You perform both actions.
You activate all other discs located in the same area.
The city's roads connect different action locations — fabric production, deliveries, contributing to construction, and building decorations.
Every choice you make affects not only you, but also your opponents.
When the fourth disc is placed in an energy space, the lowest disc is promoted to the City Council, triggering a scoring phase.
