The trebuchet is a large siege engine that uses the principle of a lever. It launches projectiles with a mass much smaller than the mass of the counterweight, thus achieving much greater speed. It was used in sieges and was the largest indirect fire weapon available to medieval armies.
The structure is assembled according to simple instructions with symbols for individual actions. The main construction material is pine wood beams measuring 9×9 mm, with lengths ranging from 16 to 230 mm. The pieces are glued together with wood and paper glue.
