Description

Knife sharpening set, brand Zokura.

The set includes:

  • 3 corundum sharpeners with grits 400, 1000, and 6000
  • 2 angle guides for short and long blades
  • 1 flattening tool with diamond surface
  • 1 base with prismatic support and storage space

For using the sharpener, you should first soak it in water for 5 minutes.

Step 1 - Use the coarse side with 400 grit to sharpen very dull or damaged blades. Select and securely attach the correct angle guide to your knife blade, depending on the size of your knife.

Hold the handle and the back of the knife with both hands, with the ceramic side in contact with the sharpener surface, to maintain a stable blade angle. Then, move the blade back and forth over the sharpener using light pressure. Generally, it is necessary to sharpen the knife every 6 months, depending on your needs.

Step 2 - The medium grit side (1000 grit) is used to remove any burrs resulting from the coarse sharpening process in the first stage or for daily sharpening and maintenance.

Step 3 - The fine grit side (6000 grit) is used to perfect the blade after each use of the medium side of the sharpener.

Flattening the sharpener using the diamond flattening tool: If the sharpener has an uneven surface, use the diamond flattening accessory to level and smooth it.

After sharpening, rinse the knife with clean water and wipe it dry.

Maintaining the sharpeners: Clean the sharpeners with a soft brush and let them dry completely before placing the sharpeners, guides, and flattening tool in their designated slots on the base.

After use, clean the sharpener with a soft brush and store all accessories in the plastic case to protect them from moisture.

Please use the entire surface of the sharpener to ensure optimal sharpening results.
