Magnum is used as a primary bittering hop in a wide range of recipes and beer styles. Its characteristic is the almost imperceptible aroma, which, combined with its high alpha acid content, allows the brewer to achieve the desired IBU in the recipe and use different hop varieties for their aromatic characteristics.
